Summary

The biggest story this week is the Minion Giant deck running Lightning, which jumped from #169 to #13 with a 57.5% win rate. Another Minion Giant deck, this one running Fireball, also rose from #7 to #3, with a 54.1% win rate. This suggests a likely rise in Minion Giant’s overall power.

Royal Hogs decks remain the most played, with the Royal Hogs deck running Archers and Ice Wizard holding the #1 spot, though its player share dropped from 6.6% to 4.8%. Similarly, the Royal Hogs deck running Archer Queen and Cannon also saw its player share decrease from 6.6% to 4.4%. Another notable climb was a Graveyard deck running Furnace and Goblin Hut, moving from #55 to #19 with a 52.1% win rate. The Electro Giant deck running Hunter also climbed from #28 to #8, despite having a 49.3% win rate.

Electro Wizard (Hero) was played more, increasing from 5.2% to 7.1% of decks and achieving a 51.1% win rate. Furnace also saw an increase in play from 5.1% to 6.6% of decks, with a 52.1% win rate. Conversely, Golden Knight (Hero) was played less, dropping from 6.2% to 4.4% of decks and showing a 49.6% win rate. Monk (Hero) also decreased in play from 2.8% to 1.9% of decks, with a 49.4% win rate.

In Ladder 14,000+, Hog Rider was the most played deck. Mega Knight (Evolved) saw an increase in play from 15.7% to 16.6% of decks, with a 42.7% win rate. In Clan War, Hog Rider was also the most played deck. The Log was played more, rising from 28.9% to 30.0% of decks, with a 50.4% win rate.

How this report is made

Each report compares two seven-day windows of battles, the week it covers and the week before. Deck figures come from Path of Legends battles of top players. A deck is its eight cards: the same eight with the evolution on another card, or a different tower troop, count as one deck.

Share is the share of players running a deck, not of matches, so a handful of very active players cannot carry a deck up the list. Win rates count every match from both sides. Cards under 1% usage are left out of the movers, because below that a swing is noise.

The ladder and clan war sections read the same week from our own match collection. Ladder below 14,000 trophies is left out: it is crowded with the game’s bot opponents, and their decks would describe the bots rather than the players.
